A decision becomes a next step.

Practice, baseline, and assessed evidence stay separate. Verification depends on eligible scope and approved human review.

  1. Read the study context and make a realistic decision.

  2. Understand the reasoning behind your practice choices.

  3. Return to the areas this exercise suggests strengthening.

  4. Eligible assessment is separate, with review and an independent second check.

  5. Your Passport records assessed scope, status and sharing permissions.

Practice helps you learn. Review establishes evidence.

Eligible assessment follows human review against the published standard, with an independent second check.

Automated scoring may assist, but it never creates verified evidence by itself.

Make the assessed scope clear.

The Passport records assessed scope, evidence state, review status, date, version, and material limitations. You decide when it is shared.

Practice never becomes Passport evidence automatically. Verified entries require the approved human-review process.

Why I'm building Competency Labs

My path into clinical research began when a research nurse took the time to introduce me to the work and help me learn. That opportunity stayed with me. I'm building Competency Labs to give more professionals a practical way to explore the work, develop their judgment, and demonstrate specific capabilities, not simply collect another completion certificate.

Better questions start with the work.

Inspect a task, a work product and the reasoning behind a finding. Real evidence requires permission and eligible human review, and sits alongside interviews and qualifications.

Straight answers

Does practice verify my competency?

No. Feedback describes your decisions within an educational exercise. Only eligible assessment evidence approved through human review can become verified Passport evidence.

Do I need an account to begin?

The released free Practice Lab scenarios can be tried without an account. Saving work and deeper account-based simulations require sign-in.

Is readiness guidance required?

No. It is optional starting-point guidance based on answers you supply, not a performance assessment. You can go straight to free practice.

What would you do next?

Choose a free scenario and see what your decisions reveal about the task.

Readiness guidance uses your supplied answers, not demonstrated performance. Practice remains developmental.
